Payment Policy

Present Practice Counseling is currently out of network all insurance plans and operates as a self-pay provider.  This means the total service fees are the client responsibility and due at the time services are rendered.  

We understand that being out of network creates a challenge for many clients and that life circumstances are not always predictable.  We have found that the use of out of network benefits can offset this burden and clients have reported increased engagement in sessions due to their increased awareness of the investment.

We do offer a small number of sliding scale slots.  This article on Sliding Scales by Fiddlehead Therapy can provide helpful guidance on factors to consider as you assess what fee level is appropriate for your current needs.   In the event that we are unable to meet your needs for sustainable support, we will do our best to provide you with other resources.
