​After almost two decades in the mental health field and a lifetime of self-discovery, there is one thing I can say for sure:  

 

In order to create change, you have to first accept what is in front of you. 

​

This is a tall order, particularly if you what is in front of you causes discomfort.  Even if you want to approach the discomfort, sometimes you don't know how. 

​

The "good news" is there are skills you can learn that help you approach life right now and change it into a life worth living and experiencing.  I have practiced them personally and share them with whoever is willing to listen.  The "bad news" is that the skills require commitment and practice.  

​

I specialize in helping people use mindfulness practices to shift into mindful living.  This equips you to become your own guide, your own advocate, your own therapist.   The goal is to empower you to approach life, gain the clarity to find joy now, and create effective, sustainable change.

  • Experience and validate a range of emotions for self-connection and communication of unmet needs

  • Practice skills to analyze behavior patterns, identify effective and ineffective patterns, and practice alternative responses

  • Build a blueprint toward your valued life and cultivate action to build mastery

  • Be expected to have a desire to change and a willingness to take doable, incremental steps toward change
